To mark International Agriculture Day, we at Proatec Tecnología Industrial would like to express our gratitude for the daily work carried out in this sector that we know so well; in a way, we also feel like we are part of it.
We know about the difficult times they’ve been through and the setbacks that typically arise during every growing season, regardless of the crop they harvest.
We are well aware of the importance of this sector, especially in terms of employment and the economy, since 23.9% of the employed population in our province is engaged in agricultural activities (source: INE Labor Force Survey).
From day laborers to transporters, including seed companies, cooperatives, and other businesses related to the agricultural sector, we thank you once again for the daily effort you put in to ensure that, together, we continue to grow as we have until now, positioning Almería as a leading province in fruit and vegetable production throughout Europe.
